“The official announcement is finally here. Back by popular demand and the same rowdy crowd that put on last year, the 2014 NRGE Booze Cruise and Bar-None Elite Beer Mile will be a a great way to kick off the fall racing season.
I will provide more details in the upcoming weeks to outline the details. The headcount of this event is something we have to be mindful of. We’d love to host our close friends and family without making an evening that is too robust. We will ask for a donation to help support NRGE athletes at upcoming races however, food, free beer and (this sounds cheesy ass shit but) fun will all be provided!
The NRGE Booze Cruise will be the same format as a traditional beer mile but you can choose your own alcohol so liquor, wine, or beer. This will be timed but a non competitive race for people looking to throw back a few cocktails on the run and enjoy themselves among good company.
The Bar-None Elite Beer Mile will be abide by official beer mile rules minus being on a track. This will be for those looking to go to a strange place they haven’t went since freshman year of college and running a blistering mile in between. Bring your A game because this one is for bragging rights!
Please let me know as soon as possible if you can make it and how many guests you will bring. We also have to be mindful of everybody having a safe ride. Otherwise you’re sleeping in the barn:)
