Thank you to everyone that came out and participated on this near perfect Nebraska morning! Special note- 68 year old Perry Linn ran what is most likely a Nebraska soil state single age record of 19:57. Perry, a runguru devotee, made the trip from his Corning, IA home to make an attempt at sub 20. His 19:57 converts to 15:09 on the WAVA age grading tables. The performance also had an age performance percentage of 85.71%. What does that mean? 80% on the scale is National Class, 90% on the scale is World Class. Perry’s race scored somewhere between National and World Class.
How important is a Certified course? Coach Sean McMahon brings his lads over to test his and their fitness. Coach’s splits this morning were 5:56, 5:56, 5:55. Mile splits matter if you are a serious racer and we have them dialed in for those of you getting after it.
The next event on our 1.5 mile, pancake flat, lightning fast, USATF Certified and Sanctioned race track is the Full Wolf Moon 5K on January 18th. Register today!
We invite you to come out and run to your potential, no matter your pace. Always plenty of first timers and walkers enjoying the natural scenic beauty of Two Rivers State Park. Healthy lifestyle opportunities with like minded folk, its a good thing! Photos at this link:
