One of my favorite celebrations over the years. Used to revel in the annual debauchery in Galveston, TX. But not before we got some good hard racing on at the Galveston Mardi Gras 15K & 5K.

In 1998 the USA Women’s 12K National Championships were hosted by the Mardi Gras Run. I redesigned and measured the course, the only time it was run as a 12K. First time to ride in the lead vehicle doing commentary but not the last.
