Well turds, another one of these meteorological phenomena is projected to roll through Western and Northern Nebraska. We’ve just completed planting 25 beds and I’ve started 200 tomatoes and 200 peppers. Forecast not so friendly but what’s a fella to do? Three days away from no furnace for a month, I’ll be splitting wood today. And getting the frost blankets out and ready for this weekend’s snow.

I’ve got a little inside skinny for you. The DC West Falcons track and xc teams have just experienced a perfect storm. Ty Hansen has been hired as assistant coach. Multi state champ out of Fremont, first recipient of the Nebraska Assoc. LDR Scholarship. Without tipping anyone’s hand too early I can announce that the fastest dude in Nebraska will be assuming the head coaching duties. Ka-Kaw! I’m excited that both these cats have landed in Waterloo. Nebraska Run Guru Elite, Inc. looking forward to supporting their efforts through our Valley 7 Lakes Marathon. If we were jacked about providing for the team prior to these hires we’re completely Giddy(up) now!
