Bridget became the first ever Team Nebraska Brooks mate to qualify for the Women’s USA Olympic Trials Marathon this morning hitting the banner mark at the California International Marathon! Congratulations, I’m stuck to the ceiling here in St. Louis, tears of joy puddling on the floor below.
Congrats too to Kaci Lickteig who ran an outstanding 2:44:14. Surely the best day in the history of Nebraska women’s marathoning.
