I’m feeling the old runner’s high again. Linda and I have maintained a decent fitness base by walking 20-25 miles per week for a very long time. We’ve included some jogging but nothing worth noting in the logs really. Until now.
These red clay roads have been blessed with record precipitation over the last couple of months. I refer to them as pillows, soft and cushy. Perfect for running. Just past my 65th birthday, a new age group has me motivated to get fit again and test the locals. We’re up to 2 miles with no problems, a 5K this spring.
I’ve got a feeling there is some running talent in Indiahoma. Kids playing outside, laughter and energy. Diamonds In The Rough.
