Dad passed on November 18, 2021. I was blessed to be with him in his final moments. Part of that blessing was a calling to honor my family name.

We purchased our next home last month in Council Bluffs, Iowa to be closer to our five kids and Linda’s four brothers. For all the love we have towards this community we miss the one thing that we can’t have here, family.
As a final gesture I am donating Block 27, Lot 1 to the Town of Indiahoma. Land that has been in the family for over 100 years. It will be a city park with a bench and a marker commemorating my grandma Katie Lindgren. She gave birth to 9 kids on that property, raised them as a single mother through the Great Depression and Dust Bowl. It is my privilege and duty to honor her. Poignant closure, my Aunt Elsie passed away yesterday at age 97, the final remaining of the original nine.
We are trying to keep the property local if possible. Would love for the house to be a home to a family with roots in Indiahoma. Towards that end we are listing by owner for $158,000. If we are unable to find a buyer we will be listing with an agent for $168,000.
