Youth Movement! Loaded up this morning with multiple meanings. I’ll kick it off with an effort that left us Giddy Up! In 2021 Linda and I poured our hearts and souls into a world class race in Valley NE, the Valley One Marathon and Half Marathon.
The following ladies ran 2021 Valley One Half Marathon (13.1 miles) and the USA Olympic Trials Marathon (26.2 miles) last Saturday in Orlando. Linda and I so happy and proud to watch the Trials play out with the following results-

Former Boston Marathon Champ Caroline Rotich (5th Valley One, 1:12:06), 6th USA Marathon Trials in 2:26:10. Lindsay Flanagan (3rd Valley One, 1:10:23), 8th USA Marathon Trials in 2:26:25. Katja Goldring (8th Valley One, 1:14:04), 26th USA Marathon Trials in 2:34:24. Carrie Verdon (2nd Valley One, 1:10:09), 57th USA Marathon Trials in 2:39:25. Stephanie Bruce (1st Valley One, 1:09:55), 102nd USA Marathon Trials in 2:47:37. Emily Sisson, Fiona O’Keefe, and Dakotah Lindwurm, your USA Paris Olympic Marathon team!
Huge tips of the sombrero to Pastor Scott Patton and the Indiahoma First Baptist Church’s Wednesday Night Pizza and Prayer kids program. Over 90 children attended this past Wednesday. Joyous Noise indeed!
The “Hometown Cafe” is now open and serving up fine fare! We sampled breakfast yesterday. The biscuits made from scratch each morning, light and tasty! Linda’s sausage link mouth watering good. And a piece of homemade pecan pie to go, maybe the best I’ve ever tasted! Indiahoma’s sit down restaurant with table service and real dishes!
Linda and I decided to rescue this little darling. At 6 months she’s already had a tough row to hoe. We’ve named her Reba. Thanks to Meadow Wood animal hospital for giving her a fresh start. We plan on giving her the very best (indoor) life possible!
