I brought this message with me when landing in the Good Life in 2001. Not as easy as it sounds.
As I built Nebraska’s Long Distance Running family I found it difficult to paint with that single brush. Some were more easy to love, others were easier to serve. Some accepted both. Others took only what they needed. I love them all the same.
My commitment to runners of all abilities has withstood the test of time. From elites to beginners. It has been dynamic and rewarding. As the family has grown my role has by needs accommodated.
I see many of my children now grown, and as is the Grand Design, making their own choices and statements. I love them still. And serve when called.
The opportunity to serve others, the greatest gift bestowed upon a mere man. A charge that I will carry out to the end of my days.
We do what is in our hearts, deeds far outweigh words. For those that seek it, I will always be here to Love All Serve All.
