Valley ONE Marathon race officials presented to the Valley City Council last night. We’ve set the date for 2022 as Saturday May 14. The biggest news from the evening is that we will be hosting the Half Marathon only in 2022, and adding a 5K.
Valley ONE Marathon enjoys a freedom and flexibility that few races in the U.S. possess. We are guided by what is best for American athletes. The USA Marathon Trials qualifying window opens in October of 2022. Valley ONE Marathon will be conducted in years that the Olympic Trials qualifying window is open.
Valley ONE was founded on a vision. A race for ANY runner looking to “Run To Your Potential!” You don’t have to be World Class to aspire to your own goals. But you do need the right venue and that is where the glass flat, completely closed, asphalt country roads of western Douglas County are your best bet.
