Great morning for 11.5 miles out in the Scenic Sarpy/Douglas county roads. Some good stuff coming up this weekend too.
David Adams will be going for the Indoor National Championships standard of 8:05 for 3000 meters tonight at the Husker Tune Up. A few of us will be going down to cheer on his efforts, Giddyup David!
Jeff Nielsen will be running the Austin Half Marathon. The Texas Hill Country, one of my most favorite places on the planet. He’s been doing copious hill training on the legendary Schoby Hill in Blair so should be ready to roll.
The Empyrean Ales 5K will be tomorrow morning at Camp Carol Joy Holling. Another Ivan Marsh Trail Run, the course will be difficult but with 500+ runners entered it is also going to be a blast. Hope to see you all there, I’ll be conducting the awards ceremony.
The weather is great, the sunshine sublime, hope you can make it out for a few miles today if you haven’t already.
