Nebraska Run Guru Elite, Inc.’s mission is to foster participation in healthy lifestyle opportunities. Especially supporting the youth in our economically depressed DC West school district, 37% of all students are on the assisted lunch program.
V7LM is proud to announce our new leadership team moving forward. Race Director Linda Kunasek, Co-Race Director Matt Scott, Executive Director, yours truly. Our first order of business is to announce support for the DC West XC and Track teams. We are pleased to present the Falcons with a check for $3000 to help further their development. Head Coach Dan Maline states “What fantastic news! We would love to be a part of this presentation and look forward to attaching ourselves to this great event and its sponsors. What a great time as well, as I was just pricing CC warm ups. Right now, we use the track ones and they say track on them. As we continue to grow our program and culture, this will be a huge help to the entire team now and in the future.”
Another of our community events is right around the corner. The Valley Days 1500 Meters (Nebraska’s only Metric Mile) is set for August 8th.
