The 2023 Two Rivers Winter Fitness Series wrapped up with yesterday’s 10th annual Valentine’s Day 5K. Big tips of the sombrero to Mike Bickley of 402 XC & Track and Matt Scott of American Health & Fitness Institute for picking up the reigns and making sure serious Nebraska runners have some place to ply their wares.
Interesting observations from the Series, important to point out that all participants age 18 & under receive free entry and awards. The average age across all three runs was 22 and that is remarkable.
The Rust Buster had 28 finishers, 20 free youth entries.
The Full Wolf Moon had 26 finishers, 12 free youth entries.
Valentine’s Day 5K had 36 finishers, 19 free youth entries.
