I’ve eased out. I’ve eased back in. I can promise you that 2026 will find my best foot (feet) forward. And like Luke Combs sings:
“Cause I’m back in the saddle like some old cowboy
Who dug his way out of the grave
Pulled up his boots, put his pistol on his hip
Climbed up and took hold of the reigns”
Midwest Elite has undergone reorganization. I want to thank Lyle Dorjahn, Doug Storey, and Shawn Love, Lisa Belcher, and Linda Lindgren for 18 months of service as Board of Directors. We were largely idle but always simmering just below the surface. A big tip of the Stetson also to Rob Duncan, the lone athlete to sport our kit in 2025. Ah, but the times, standards, and scope, they are a changing!
It took a serendipitous moment to rekindle my fire, it is once again glowing. I expect it will be white hot by September 5th of this year. Stay tuned, more details on something very special will be forthcoming shortly. Oh, and as always, Not For The Last Time, GIDDYUP!
