This guy! The Indy-Pendent News is giving the biggest sombrero tips possible to Aaron McCarthy. Indiahoma is extremely fortunate to have him, pardon the pun, in the trenches. The antiquated infrastructure that are Indy’s water and sewer systems have not fared well under the recent subfreezing event. And more to come before Old Man steps aside for Spring.
Aaron has done his very best to keep up with burst pipes, cracked hydrants, and more. Often knee deep in the freezing water and mud. Always with a smile and most often a good word or two. He’ll be cruising in the Indy town truck, keeping an eye out for and a shoulder into our problems. If you see him give a honk, wave, and tip of the cowboy hat!
The 2nd annual “We Are Indiahoma 5K, 1 Mile & Senior Stroll” is set for Saturday March 16th, cannon fires at 10:00 a.m. The eve of St. Patrick’s Day, we encourage ‘wearin o’ the green’ Registration is live here: We Are Indiahoma 5K & 1 Mile – Indiahoma, OK 2024 (active.com)
